Hi Lovies,
As I sit here, it is the 7th day of August 2023. Where is the time going? It's the 8th month of the year already. So, many of you know, or may not know that I am an autism mom, an author, an entrepreneur and a newly minted MaryKay Independent Beauty Consultant.
How many of us would love to start something new but because of fear of failure or maybe it's fear of success, you tell me, have decided to put it off year after year? We sometimes wonder "what will people say" or you mentioned it to someone, and they laughed in your face.
Well, I am here to tell you to "GO FOR IT." Make this month be the month that you start to find the courage to start something new. Yes, we might tell ourselves we don't have the money, the time, the education. These are valid reasons but how long will we tell ourselves this? There will always be an excuse but there comes a time when we have to get rid of the excuses and just jump right in. Ca we at least try? We don't want to live with the woulda, coulda, shouldas. Not when we have children with special needs counting on us to be our best selves.
Tell me, what is it that you would like to start? Share your thoughts with me. Share your ideas with me. I promise not to laugh. We are all created for a purpose and only you were created for that particular thing, no one else.
