I’m Kendra, a doula and educator with a background most birthworkers don't share. Before I became a doula, I ran a bookkeeping practice and spent my days inside the financial reports that showed why some businesses survived and others quietly closed. That lens came with me into birthwork, and it shaped everything about how I built my own practice.

That financial lense allowed me to see this: birthworkers were either booked out or struggling and ready to give up. I was so determined to create a thriving practice and not fall in the struggling doula category that I went all in saying yes to every client and every opportunity. That quickly led to burnout and struggles in my home life.

Now, using my experience, business insights and thoughtfully created tools, my goal is to help you build a thriving practice that enables you to continue to do what you love without hustling, or sacrificing the people you love!
