About Me

Alexis Shahin is a holistic personal coach specializing in mindfulness and meditation. She is the founder of Moksha Mindfulness, a boutique-style online library offering digestible tips, courses, worksheets, and guided meditations. Her platform focuses on practical, easy-to-implement meditation techniques that meet people where they are.


Her journey into motherhood inspired her to create kids’ yoga classes and mindfulness courses for mothers, nurturing the unique and powerful bond between parent and child. Alexis is also a Positive Psychology Practitioner, and she thoughtfully integrates positive psychology and mindfulness-based interventions into her coaching and course design.


Alexis’ approach to mindfulness and self-care is warm, intuitive, wise, and playfully encouraging. Through Moksha Mindfulness, she offers well-researched, accessible coaching and classes that support individuals in honoring both their strengths and struggles, while inspiring brave steps toward personal growth.


She began her yoga journey in 2014, earning her 500-hour RYT certification in Los Angeles, California, and is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. In 2020, she completed her Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher Certification and is currently pursuing certification as a Positive Psychology Practitioner.


With a background in both psychology and art, Alexis is also working toward further studies in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Applied Psychology. Her teaching blends the rich traditions of yoga philosophy with practical mindfulness tools designed to uplift, empower, and awaken the human spirit.
