The Tending Pages...
Writer, maker, and keeper of Bloom Street Studios
I'm Tammi.
Bloom Street Studios grew out of a season when I finally had enough quiet to hear myself again.
I had spent a lot of years caring for people, building a life, adapting, doing what needed to be done, and becoming very good at tending to what was in front of me. Somewhere in all of that, I realized I had stopped asking what I wanted to make, learn, explore, or simply enjoy for myself.
So I started paying attention.
I wrote.
I worked with my hands.
I learned to weave metal ring by ring, wrap stone and crystal, blend incense from raw botanicals, and roll incense by hand. I made journals and workbooks because sometimes I needed somewhere to put the questions I was asking myself.
None of it started as a grand plan.
One thing simply led to another.
Eventually I realized the writing, jewelry, incense, and paper goods weren't separate pursuits that needed separate places. They were different expressions of the same thing: curiosity, creativity, attention, and the pleasure of making something with care.
So I gave them one home.
Bloom Street Studios.
I'm still learning. Still making. Still changing my mind sometimes. Still following an idea to see where it goes.
I don't believe we have to have ourselves completely figured out before we're allowed to begin something, enjoy something, change direction, or become curious about what comes next.
Sometimes blooming looks a lot less like arriving and a lot more like paying attention to what's growing.
I'm glad you found your way here.
You're already on time.
The Studio
Bloom Street Studios is a place for words, objects, ritual, and the ordinary things that help us pay a little more attention to our lives.
Everything here comes from the same pair of hands, but it doesn't all take the same form.
The Tending Pages is where I write. Essays and reflections about perspective, growth, boundaries, beginning again, letting go, and the sometimes messy work of being human.
Bloom Elemental is where I work with metal, stone, and crystal. Handcrafted jewelry made slowly through wirework, chainmaille, stamping, and other forms of metalwork. Pieces meant to leave my workbench and become part of someone else's story.
The Afterward Incense Works is where herbs, flowers, spices, woods, and resins become botanical incense. Cured loose blends and hand-rolled sticks made without artificial fragrance, synthetic oils, or charcoal. A quieter approach to incense, created for gentle aromatic presence rather than filling a room with fragrance.
And throughout the studio you'll find journals, workbooks, and other things I've made along the way. Some are meant to be worn. Some burned. Some written in. Some simply read.
There isn't one prescribed way to use any of it.
That's important to me.
I'm not interested in telling you what you should feel, who you should become, or what a piece of jewelry, an incense blend, or a page in a journal is supposed to mean to you.
I can tell you how something was made. I can tell you what went into it. I can share what I've learned and what I've experienced.
You get to decide what it becomes in your life.
That's the thread running through Bloom Street Studios.
Make with care.
Choose with intention.
Pay attention to what meets you where you are.
Welcome to the studio.
There is room here for more than one way of blooming.
