"SHE COMES FROM THE STARS."

I created Astral Supernova in 2013 as a visual and narrative concept. It began as a poetic world of drawings, notes, and dreams-and slowly became music. The sound grew from stardust and longing: melodic, soft, and glimmering with emotion.

At the heart of this universe is Astral Ishikawa, a 16-year-old girl living in Dream Tokyo—a fictional, alternate version of the city where time moves like memory. 

Its fashion, habits, and atmosphere recall Tokyo of the 1980s and 1990s, blending nostalgia with imagination.

Astral is shy, sensitive, and drawn to the stars. She doesn't fully understand her connection to the cosmos-but she feels it in every quiet sunset and starlit silence.

Musically, Astral Supernova blends 1980s Japanese pop, 

city pop, but also indie rock and pop punk.

Sweet and emotional female vocals float above nostalgic chords, vintage synths, dreamy Rhodes pianos, and soft rhythmic textures. Falsetto choruses shimmer like constellations. 

Each track is a little story-of first love, forgotten skies, 

or the invisible beauty of being different.

The character of Astral wears a star earring, 

echoing her mysterious origin.

Her eyes reflect light like galaxies. 

Her fashion fuses retro Tokyo with quiet rebellion. Through her, the music becomes not just a sound-but a feeling.
