I’m Jaena, the creator of Defeating Childhood Trauma.

I create Complex PTSD education, tools, journals, and guidance designed to make confusing trauma patterns easier to understand and work with.

My work focuses on helping survivors understand what is happening inside the nervous system, why certain patterns keep repeating, and how to begin rebuilding emotional understanding, agency, self-trust, and identity.

Everything in this shop comes from the larger body of work I’ve built through years of trauma education, research, lived experience, writing, and tool development.

The goal is simple: make Complex PTSD make sense — and give you practical ways to work with what you discover.
