I’m Jim Pescott, a Canadian artist who has been creating paintings for more than 30 years.

I work in a self-taught contemporary pointillism style, building my paintings with layers and layers of individual dots of colour.

Much of my work is inspired by nature and by my early years exploring “in the bush,” as I called it then. After a national-level corporate career, I chose to follow a different path and devote myself to being an artist.

My paintings have been exhibited several times at the jury-entry salon of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France, at the Carrousel du Louvre.
