I am a self-employed freelancer working in book publishing. I run a lot of my work and business affairs through spreadsheets. Sad but true. I find them a great way to keep things organised. I have used them to manage my money and for all manner of project management tasks over many years, and I hope they can help you too.

A well thought-out spreadsheet should be simple to use while saving the user a lot of effort. I try and take the calculator and notepad out of a lot of tasks while also coaxing the user into a method and routine of recording their information which removes a lot of the stress from managing their work or their finances.
