Hélène Dufiguier, King's Daughter (1663): 600 Livres and a Signature
Hélène Dufiguier brings goods valued at 600 livres, double the 300 livres declared by four other Filles du roi married in October 1663. The daughter of a gentilhomme de la Chambre du roi, she marries at Québec on October 24, 1663 Jacques Fournier, sieur Delaville, who has already been through a first marriage that was annulled. This enriched booklet contains an identity sheet, a narrative, the 1667 census at Cap-Rouge with her neighbours, a timeline, a family tree, a glossary and a page on what the archives do not say. Profile no. 7 of Volume 1663. 9-page PDF in English.
