Marie-Anne Agathe, The King's Daughter (1663): First Bride on the List
On October 16, 1663, Marie-Anne Agathe marries at Québec. On the PRDH list, no Fille du roi has an earlier marriage date. Neither she nor her husband can sign, and the archives credit her with no children. This booklet follows her through a contract before notary Duquet, a marriage, three censuses and a burial, from Saint-Germain-en-Laye to Saint-Augustin. It contains an identity sheet with certainty levels, a thousand-word narrative, precise sources and the gaps in the archives, with nothing invented. Profile no. 1 of Volume 1663. 6-page PDF in English.
