Catherine de Boisandré, The King's Daughter (1663): The Squire's Daughter
Her father bears the title of écuyer, or squire. She cannot sign. Catherine de Boisandré, from the parish of Saint-Jean in Caen, marries at Québec on October 20, 1663 Marc-Antoine Gobelin dit Cinq-Mars. Four years later, her widowed sister and two nephews join her. She dies in 1685 at Saint-Laurent, on the Île d'Orléans, with no known child. This booklet rebuilds her life from Landry, the PRDH and Francogène: identity sheet with certainty levels, narrative, sources and the gaps in the archives. Profile no. 2 of Volume 1663. 5-page PDF in English.
