A procureur's daughter from the Parlement of Paris marries a surgeon at Château-Richer on October 23, 1663. Marguerite Peuvrier can sign, and so can her husband, which is rare: only 23 percent of the Filles du roi in Landry's study can. Widowed in 1690, she remarries in 1696 at Rivière-Ouelle. Francogène counts thirteen generations and 6,925 marriages among her descendants, between 2.45 and 2.87 million Quebecers. For anyone with a Meneux, a Châteauneuf or a Meneu among their ancestors. Identity sheet with certainty levels, narrative, sources and the gaps in the archives. Profile no. 6 of Volume 1663. 5-page PDF in English.
