For this session of ‘Dance Around the World’ we will be visiting Spain, to learn a Paso Doble inspired dance. Also known as the Spanish Warrior Dance, the Paso Doble is a very theatrical Latin ballroom dance, with Spanish and French origins. It’s dramatic, sharp, and strong. Based around the story of a Spanish bullfight, students can explore the imagery of a strong matador entering the bullfighting ring.
This lesson is choreographed to be performed as a duet, but it can also be altered to work as a solo.
