The Old Quay House, Fowey
Here’s an alternative view from outside the King of Prussia pub in Fowey, this time excluding the Galleon Inn. including this scene looking upstream with Bodinnick in the background. This one emphasises the traditional buildings around and including the Old Quay House.
The black and white conversion accentuates the contrast of light and dark. As you cast your eye across the buildings, you’ll notice a mix of intriguing shapes and patterns. For example, the square tiles on the front of the central building, the harsh lines of the steel steps, down to the oily ripples in the water reflections.
