The view from outside the King of Prussia pub are some of the most popular in terms of photos of Fowey, including this scene looking upstream with Bodinnick in the background. The Galleon Inn resides in a 400-year-old former warehouse and boasts some of the best views out over the Fowey estuary.

In this image, I liked the contrast of the clean and rendered architecture against the darker weathered stone of the harbour wall. The Old Quay House Hotel is one of the last few buildings here. The variety of steps down the wall show the tide lines, with this image taken near low tide.

The way the buildings curve round leads the eye out upon the river and towards Bodinnick in the background. The gentle ripples on the water produce a soft mirror image of the landscape.

See the image previews for both the overall image, then examples of zoomed-in detail.
