Polruan Ferry
The River Fowey separates the beautiful Cornish towns of Polruan and Fowey at the estuary. The small Polruan Ferry has been shuttling pedestrians across the water between the two harbours for hundreds of years.
As you might notice on my zoomed-in detail, the Polruan Ferry is currently piloted by a doppelganger of Liam Neeson... Beware if you skip your fare: He will look for you, he will find you, and he will kill you!
Here the ferry is just coming over to the Fowey side to drop off a few passengers. The bright orange of the ferry, along with the flotilla of yellow buoys, is set against the mesmerising ripples on the water, which reflect the boat and blue sky.
See the image previews for both the overall image, then examples of zoomed-in detail.
