Station Road, Fowey
Here’s more of the quaint, Cornish architecture to enjoy as you walk through the historic streets of Fowey. This view focuses in on Station Road, which runs alongside the River Fowey. I’ve done this in a sepia tone, to provide congruence with the long history of this area. A sign on the right says ‘Ferryview’, while on the left is number 3.
It’s striking how steeped in history this town is and I love how every characterful cottage seems uniquely built and presented. There’s much to see at every turn, though watch out for traffic if you’re taking some snaps as there’s rarely footpaths along the narrow streets!
