Lone Bodinnick Cottage, Left

When it comes to traditional Cornish cottages, this quaint and asymmetrical dwelling on the Bodinnick side of the river from Fowey is a beauty. All on its own and set among the trees screening the river, this dwelling seems both charming and eerie all at once!

This composition is all about contrast. For example, see how the orange autumnal colours contrast against the teal-blue of the river. The harsh stone detail against its softer reflection and gentle dappling of the surrounding foliage and water.
