Return From Seonyudo

On the return ferry heading back to Namdang Port in Hongseong, Chungnam Province. The ride from the Seonyudo island chain to the mainland is under 15 minutes, but it still provides travelers with a chance to catch their breaths. We took the last boat out that day, and there were only a few of us on it, this lady included. Was she staring out at the mountains on the horizon that had been burned two years prior in a forest fire? Was she enjoying the feel of the ocean breeze, or watching the gulls playing in the air? Was someone waiting for her? Was she running an errand? I just had to turn that moment into a watercolor painting! This piece is for anyone fond of pondering such questions, and for anyone with a love of sea travel and boats.
