About Me

Hello!

My name is Chris, and I am a dedicated Therapist and Mental Health Specialist with a passion for helping children and young people navigate their mental health journeys.

Driven by a desire to further my knowledge and impact, I pursued an undergraduate degree in Public Health at Teesside University, graduating with a 2:1. While studying, I worked as a resource worker with the "Kids with Disabilities" team and as a Healthcare Assistant at Bankfields Court for Tees, Esk, and Wear Valleys, gaining invaluable experience.

In 2021, I qualified as a Low Intensity CBT (LICBT) therapist through Northumbria University, earning my first PGCE in LICBT. This was followed by a further PGCE in Clinical Supervision while working as a Senior Children’s Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner in Durham.

I have also contributed to the LICBT course at multiple universities, helping to train the next generation of therapists. My diverse background and commitment to mental health drive my holistic and empathetic approach to therapy, ensuring each client receives tailored and effective support.

I look forward to continuing my journey in helping others achieve better mental health and well-being.
