About Me
I'm a manual osteopath, exercise therapist, and lifelong guitarist.
After 18 years of working with everyone from post-surgical patients to performing musicians I kept seeing the same thing: players in their 40s, 50s, and 60s managing pain that nobody had ever properly explained to them.
Stretching the spot that hurt. Resting and hoping. Starting again and ending up in the same place.
The problem was never the pain itself. It was that nobody had shown them the system underneath it.
I created the Release-Reset-Rebuild™ framework to do exactly that: to treat the body as an integrated kinetic chain rather than a collection of isolated complaints. Every product in the Gentle Octaves store is built on that framework, whether it's a single protocol card or the full Keep Playing manual.
I have a degree in psychology, a diploma in manual osteopathy (D.O.M.P.), and extensive training in exercise therapy and strength coaching. I understand both the physical and psychological side of playing-related pain and why one rarely exists without the other.
My goal is simple: to give adult guitarists the system they need to keep playing for the rest of their lives.
Gentle Octaves provides movement education and wellness coaching. It is not a substitute for active clinical medical treatment.
