Peter Pan - a wellbeing, mindfulness and relaxation lesson plan
Peter Pan has been a popular story with all ages since it was first written as Peter and Wendy in 1911 by J.M. Barrie. This lesson plan gives a brief overview of part of the story and introduces key characters while teaching the children a selection of relaxation techniques which they can use throughout their lives. Using a combination of mindfulness, breathing techniques and yoga the lesson will calm your classroom in no time.
Mindfulness and relaxation have been proven to increase children's concentration, create a calmer atmosphere and even increase attainment. It is a wonderful addition to any setting.

They also include a fun script for you to read through which incorporates all the techniques learned into an enjoyable, relaxing story which is completely age appropriate.
