Wesleyan Church 1894
Among the historic streets and architecture in Fowey are several fantastic churches. This impressive gothic building dominates the narrow North Street. Built in 1894, the Wesleyan Church in Fowey is built on the site of an earlier chapel, dating back to 1801.
I took this crouching from a low angle to capture the overbearing dominance of the building upon passers-by. I also tried to balance the pleasing symmetry in this beautiful gothic building. I liked the contrast with the black railings outside, the main focal point. The tops of these railings aptly seem to resemble a singing choir of angels when zoomed in!
