“Sheep on Pyg Track, Snowdon” - Panorama
Here’s a panoramic view from near the top of Pyg Track on Snowdon, taken just before it meets the Llanberis path. Encased between the walls of Crib Goch on the left and Snowdon on the right are the mountainous lakes of Glaslyn and the larger Llyn Llydaw. The former stands an impressive 600m above sea level!
To the right of the lakes in the distance are the ominous ridges and peaks of Y Lliwedd and Lliwedd Bach. The Miner’s Track can be seen running down the middle of the pass, while two sheep nonchalantly graze by a small pond in the foreground.
A combination of violet, green, and orange tones I’ve added to the image gives the panoramic scene an almost fairy-tale-like feel.
Want quality fine art prints, or a ready-to-hang framed print, canvas, or original acrylic mountboard? Get it here: Sheep on Pyg Track prints.
Tech Specs: Multiple shots on Canon 6D @ 24mm, ISO 800, f/13, 1/200 sec. Stitched together and enhanced in Lightroom. JPEG download only.
