“Pyg of a Track” - Panoramic
The Pyg track is a popular route up Snowdon, given the stunning route throughout. It is named after being a historical route for miners to transport ‘pyg’ (pitch / tar) in the area. This multi-shot panoramic view is from the base, looking up to the daunting challenge ahead.
On the left, several individuals can be observed embarking on the tough, yet rewarding, climb ahead. In the centre you can see all the way through the valley to Llanberis and the lakes of Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris. The mountain and basin on the right provides some balance to the landscape. Colours have been tweaked for added drama.
