Please see the matching Tranquil Waters & Confluence Cowls. This pattern is a part of the Flowing Marls e-book.
Marianated Yarns Practicality has the ideal construction for Fission Knitting & yardage generous enough to make both a cowl & hat from 2 skeins. Marianated Yarns has put together some great colour combinations for these projects.
An interlacing cable motif travels up the sides of this hat to merge into a beautiful intricate looking crown.
This cozy worsted weight hat is knit holding two fingering weight yarns together throughout. This hat starts with a stretchy tubular cast on and is worked in the round throughout.
This hat is a part of a Flowing Marls e-bookthat teaches the Fission Knitting technique. The Flowing River Cowl/Hat are the easiest in the set and you will learn 2 new cable stitches. The Tranquil Waters Cowl/Hat teach 2 more cables stitches. For the Confluence Cowl, you will layer the motifs from the first two designs on top of teach other to create a reversible cabled design. There is a lot of cabling in these patterns; some experience with cables is helpful but not required. Fission Knitting Tutorials of the cable stitches are provided.
The Family Connections Series & Secret Garden Scarf are designs that use this technique.
