I'm Dr. Calum Downie. PhD in biomechanics. Senior lecturer. Researcher. I've spent my career studying how the human body moves - and more importantly, why most people are doing it wrong.


Built by Science exists because the fitness industry is full of programs built on bro-science, aesthetics, and recycled nonsense. This isn't that.


Every program, every guide, every piece of content here is grounded in movement science. Not trends. Not influencer opinion. Actual anatomy, actual biomechanics, actual evidence.
