Expand ContentVirtual Childbirth Preparation is a 1-session course  of 4 hours that provides you and your  support person with essential information and support as you prepare for birth.  The class series reviews in detail what you need to know around your upcoming birth experience, utilizing a more slow-paced environment that allows you to build relationships with your instructor and the other participants in class. Private classes are available with an extra cost of $25.00

Class topics include:

1. Pregnancy basics
2. Understanding labor and birth
3.What happens when you go into a hospital based setting
4. The basics of Cesarean birth
5. The early post-partum period
6. The power of using your voice to get what you want during your hospital visit.
7. Knowing your rights during pregnancy

You will have access to your instructor to discuss anything you need 
Parents who plan to breastfeed or want to know more about Newborn Care should take a separate  class. This class only include basic newborn care and breastfeeding basics. 
Class cost includes online access to an interactive web app which includes video clips, printable charts and checklists, interactive tools and much more. Instructions for accessing the web app are provided in the registration confirmation email.

Additionally, you also get birth affirmations to help you practice for your upcoming birth.
Class fee includes participant and one adult partner. Partners are encouraged to attend.
