For the days you feel everything at once
Some days, you feel everything.
Anger. Sadness. Fear. Confusion.
All at once. All at the same time.
And it feels like too much.
Like you might drown in it.
Like no one else could understand the storm inside you.
If this is you, you're not broken.
You're not “too sensitive.”
You're not “dramatic.”
You're human.
And humans feel.
The Prophet ﷺ felt deeply too.
He wept when his son Ibrahim died.
He grieved when his wife Khadijah passed.
He felt fear in the cave of Hira.
He felt anger when his companions were hurt.
He didn't hide his emotions.
He felt them. He expressed them.
And he remained close to Allah.
So what do you do when your emotions feel too big?
You don't have to calm the ocean; just learn to float.
You weren't meant to carry this alone.
This is what Chapter 3 of “The Map Allah Gave Me” is about.
It's called “Navigating Storms.”
It helps you understand your emotions without being controlled by them.
It doesn't tell you to “just calm down.”
It doesn't judge you for feeling deeply.
It just... sits with you.
In the storm.
Until it passes.
🤲 A Prayer for Stormy Days:
Ya Allah,
This is heavy.
I don't know how long it will last.
You say with hardship comes ease.
I'm waiting for the ease.
While I wait, just stay close.
Let me feel You in the middle of this.
Ameen.
